Growing up in a traditional family in Jodhpur, Sakshi’s dreams didn’t exactly align with the expectations her family had for her. They planned a different future, one that was defined by financial stability and culture. But Sakshi’s heart was set on something else. Her love for art wasn’t just a passing interest, it was something deeper, something she couldn’t let go of.
“Being from a traditional family, we believed marriage was the next chapter after her education. But fate had other plans, she chose her passion instead, and I am glad she did that” her mother recalls.
However, pursuing a career in tattooing wasn’t an easy decision for Sakshi. The idea of being a tattoo artist also met with hesitation from her family. “Tattooing wasn’t even considered an option, it was unheard of. But I couldn’t imagine doing anything else,” she says. She knew she had to break through these barriers, and that’s where Aliens School of Tattoo Art came in.

The turning point came when Sakshi discovered Aliens School of Tattoo Art at a tattoo convention. Drawn to their booth, she found herself inspired by the energy. “I knew in my gut that this was the place that could help me become the artist I always dreamed of being,” she recalls.

 

When she entered the doors of Aliens School of Tattoo Art, her world expanded. The school wasn’t just a place to learn the craft, it was a space that nurtured her creativity and gave her a sense of belonging. “The first day at Aliens felt like stepping into a new world. The energy, the creativity, it was like nothing I had ever experienced before,” Sakshi remembers.

 

But her journey at the school was about more than just technical skills. It was about learning how to turn passion into a profession. The mentorship she received transformed her, pushing her beyond what she thought was possible helping her grow in both confidence and skill.

And at the age of just 22, Sakshi did what many only dream of – she bought her own home.
“According to industry reports, the average age for first-time homebuyers in India is 32. Sakshi defied the norm by achieving this milestone a full decade earlier.”

But her success didn’t stop there.

 

By 23, Sakshi’s tattoo artistry started gaining worldwide recognition. She won an award for her work at the Kula Tattoo Convention, and soon after, her talents drew the attention of many around the world. One of her career-defining moments came when she tattooed Arjun Kapoor’s famous Phoenix Tattoo. “When I tattooed Arjun Kapoor, I knew my work had reached new heights,” says Sakshi.

Her talent, backed by the foundation she built at Aliens School of Tattoo Art, allowed her to establish a name for herself in the industry. Today, Sakshi’s work is not only recognized across India but globally, with her annual salary exceeding 18 LPA. “The day I realized my art could give me financial stability, I knew I had made the right choice,” she shares

“With top tattoo artists earning nearly ₹1 Cr annually, tattooing surpasses the average starting salary in other art careers, typically ₹3-5 lakhs in the first three years, offering greater financial stability early on.”

The journey from a young artist with dreams to one of the top tattoo artists in India wasn’t easy, but it was made possible with the support and training she received at Aliens School of Tattoo Art. “If I hadn’t taken that first step into Aliens, I wouldn’t be living the life I have now,” Sakshi says.
