Equipment care & precautions

This course will teach you how to perform piercing with single-use needles. You'll learn about the various types & sizes of needles, studs used for different piercings, and forceps.

With a set of equipment for each individual, get hands-on experience with using them. Also, learn about the proper care & hygiene of these equipment. Finally, get complete knowledge about needles, studs, and forceps and their use.

Understanding the use of various types of piercing needle gauges and stud sizes as per various piercing types.
Understanding the use of forceps and clamps to achieve maximum comfort and stability while piercing any given area.

Medical grade hygiene system

The process of Piercing is more like performing a medical procedure. Therefore it is essential to maintain high hygiene standards and make sure that you use sterile equipment while performing any piercing to avoid putting the client's health at risk.

Learn how to keep the piercing tools clean and sterilized using an autoclave machine and all the prerequisites of piercing that you, as a professional, must follow.

Understanding the signs and symptoms of bloodborne pathogens and how to prevent infections.
